Goddard Fellows Innovation Challenge (GFIC) 2017-2021 Proposal Selections

Selection Criteria

Selection criteria included the degree of innovation, the importance of the idea’s potential applications when successful, growth paths for gaining additional support, proposed metrics of success, scientific and technical merit, proposer’s evaluation of competing approaches, questions to be addressed, realism of the work plan, and qualifications of the proposing team. Minor criteria include relevance to Goddard’s special capabilities and potential to nurture Goddard’s talent pool. Proposers must be civil servants.
